Customer‑Focused Service Advisor

Now Hiring: Customer‑Focused Service Advisor – Be the Friendly Face of Our Service Department & Drive an Exceptional Experience Every Visit!

Location: 2635 Trout Lake Rd, North Bay, ON P1B 7S8 (Chrysler)

Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Ascertain auto services by listening to a customer's description of symptoms; clarifying problems; conducting inspections; taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labour; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered; outlining repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into the service database system.
• Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.
• Maintain accurate records by documenting problems and corrective actions planned.
• Update job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Auto experience considered an asset.
• Valid G Driver’s License.
