Job summary

OpenRoad Toyota Port Moody is seeking a Service Advisor to join our Service Department in Port Moody, BC. You will handle customer inquiries, document vehicle concerns, and manage repair orders with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate scheduling, monitor work-in-progress, and communicate clearly with customers about repairs, costs, and timelines. A Mandarin-speaking candidate will be a tremendous asset in our diverse team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive equipment and how service departments operate.
• Mandarin proficiency is a tremendous asset for customer interactions.
• Experience with customer satisfaction and retention techniques.
• Ability to maintain records and prepare reports in a computerized system.
• Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization.
• Good communication skills and the ability to document repairs clearly.
• Ability to operate service equipment and make sound decisions.
• Must hold a valid British Columbia driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries promptly and document vehicle concerns and repair orders.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately and signatures obtained.
• Obtain customer and vehicle data for repair orders.
• Process completed jobs and update customers on delivery times.
• Review repairs with customers at vehicle delivery.
• Schedule service appointments with appropriate time allocations.
• Monitor progress of repairs and notify customers of delays or additional work.
• Suggest additional services when appropriate and estimate costs.
