Jaguar Land Rover Thornhill is seeking a Service Advisor to join the team in Thornhill, Ontario. You will schedule service appointments, greet customers, review vehicle history, and propose repairs with clear estimates.

The role emphasizes delivering outstanding service and building lasting customer relationships. Ideal candidates have an automotive background, strong numeracy, attention to detail, and proficiency in CDK or Reynolds systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• College Diploma or University Degree required.
• Experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of CDK and Reynolds software systems and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent customer service skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Greet customers, schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and identify vehicle service needs.
• Review vehicle history, recommend appropriate repairs and maintenance, and promote additional services and accessories.
• Prepare repair estimates, communicate costs and completion times, and obtain customer authorization for all repairs.
• Coordinate with technicians and service managers to ensure accurate communication and timely completion of repairs.
• Keep customers informed of repair progress, delays, warranty decisions, and changes to estimates.
• Review repair orders and invoices for accuracy, explain charges, and ensure prompt payment.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and conduct follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate loaner vehicles and insurance arrangements as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance, an organized work area, and compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards.

Job Purpose:

The Service Advisor sells and schedules needed service work in the service department. The position deals with the customer needs relating to the service or repair of their vehicle while ensuring each customer is treated as an individual with the utmost care and respect. The Service Consultant must be mindful of shop loading and act on value-added opportunities.

Compensation: Salary + Commission Plan

Requirements:

• College Diploma or Univserity Degree
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Working knowledge of CDK and/or Reynolds software systems and MS Office Suite
