Qualifications

• Knowledge of digital technology including internet and software use.

• Automotive experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Estimating the cost and time needed for a wide range of repairs.
• Welcoming customers and discussing their needs.
• Answering customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone.
• Develop repair estimates by considering materials, supplies and labor costs.
• Prepare repair orders by detailing vehicle problems or symptoms.
• Connect customers to the appropriate auto technician.
• Maintain automotive records by tracking problems and corrective actions.

The Service Advisor, reporting to the Parts/Service Manager, serves as the liaison between customers and the Auto Technician. They perform general office duties, book appointments, and explain the work performed and associated costs to customers.
