Local Division Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Reporting to the Service Sales manager, you will develop, implement, and manage the account strategy for local / strategic account(s) focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate sales activities and manage resolution of specific customer problems. Join a passionate team with energy, customer focus, and operate in a high-speed environment. The account manager will be responsible for the Quebec and Maritime territory.

  • Understand the key drivers of the relevant customer’s business and their environment to interpret the impact and opportunities for ABB’s drives and motors services.
  • Define and propose sales targets for the account and ensure achievement through structured follow-up across divisions and countries.
  • Sell products, solutions, and services with a focus on volume, mix, and profitability targets, representing the entire ABB group.
  • Create added value for both the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g., frame agreements, AVL-related actions).
  • Apply standardized Marketing and Sales (M&S) processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, AVLs) for the account.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions.
  • Monitor competitors’ activity and formulate appropriate response strategies.
Qualifications for the role
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in service drives and motors sales in Quebec and Maritime markets or relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong Health and Safety culture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills.
  • Good knowledge of the service and aftermarket industry.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Analytical skills to analyze data and make informed decisions.
