This Position Reports To

Local Division Manager

ABB Motion provides pioneering technology, products, solutions and related services to industrial customers to increase energy efficiency, improve safety and reliability, and maintain precise control over processes. The portfolio includes motors, generators and drives for a wide range of applications in all industrial sectors.
Your Role: Own the Challenge
  • Understand the key drivers of the relevant customer’s business and their environment, and interpret the impact and opportunity for ABB for drives and motors services.
  • Define and propose sales targets for the account and ensure those are achieved with structured follow-up across divisions and countries.
  • Sell products/solutions/services to customers focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets representing the entire ABB group.
  • Create added value for both the customer and ABB through a coordinated sales approach (e.g., frame agreements, AVL related actions).
  • Drive the application of standardized Marketing and Sales (M&S) processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, AVLs, etc.) for the account.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the account plan and SoW growth actions.
  • Monitor competitors’ activity with the account and formulate and implement appropriate response strategies.
What It Takes To Run What Runs The World
  • 5 years of experience in service drives and motors sales in Quebec and Maritime markets or relevant experience.
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build relationships with a collaborative mindset.
  • Analytical skills: ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
