Job summary

Bighorn in Revelstoke, BC is seeking a motivated Server to join our food and beverage team. The successful candidate will greet guests, describe menu items and daily specials, take orders, and deliver food and drinks with care.

The role requires excellent English communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Serving It Right certification is required; 2–3 years of hospitality experience is preferred. Shifts include mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• No standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have a Serving It Right certificate.
• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers.
• Advise on menu selections and wine pairings when appropriate.
• Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs; assist guests as needed.
• Respond to customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
