Athabasca Motor Hotel 1972 Ltd. in Jasper, AB is hiring a Food and Beverage Server to deliver excellent service in a busy hospitality setting.

The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and work full-time on permanent terms, with shifts including day, evening, night, weekend, and overtime. The position requires English fluency, a high school certificate, 7 months to 1 year of experience, Safe Food Handling and ProServe certifications, and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be of legal drinking age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have a Safe Food Handling certificate and have completed the ProServe programme.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work setting

• The candidate will be required to work in a restaurant, fast food establishment, pub, hotel, motel, or resort.
• Accommodation will be provided for the candidate.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a rural area.
