Job summary

Chateau Nova Kingsway in Edmonton is seeking a friendly, experienced Full-Time Server to join our busy Food & Beverage team. The role includes welcoming guests, taking orders, and assisting with bartending duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or F&B serving experience.
• Previous bartending experience is required.
• Valid ProServe certification is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional and positive approach.
• Dependable and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive food and beverage service.
• Take orders accurately and ensure food and beverages are served efficiently.
• Answer guest questions and provide information about menu items, beverages and hotel services.
• Check in with guests throughout their experience and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Process guest payments accurately and follow established cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized and guest-ready service areas.
• Work closely with the kitchen and other Food & Beverage team members to provide smooth, consistent service.
• Assist with bartending duties as required, including preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Help with bar setup, stocking and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
• Follow responsible liquor service requirements and all applicable hotel procedures.
• Assist fellow team members when needed to keep service running smoothly.
