Job summary

V!VA Retirement Communities in Carleton Place is seeking a Part Time Server to provide friendly food and beverage service to community members. You will work as part of a team, delivering high standards of hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction in a retirement living environment.

Flexibility for on-call coverage, evenings, weekends and holidays is required. We support a vaccinated workforce and value compassionate service to seniors.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining-room settings with food service responsibilities.
• Excellent customer service oriented to seniors.
• Able to communicate clearly with peers and guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet Community Members and guests at table.
• Take orders and communicate to kitchen/bar.
• Ensure orders are correct and well presented.
• Serve beverages and refills as needed.
• Set and clear tables following standards.
• Provide personal attention and teamwork.
• Address concerns and resolve issues with empathy.
• Participate in training programs.
