Job summary

GRETA in Vancouver is seeking personable servers to deliver exceptional guest experiences and energize the dining floor. You will educate guests on drinks, assist with menu choices, and help guests enjoy arcade games, while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of restaurant serving experience, strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills. Shifts are 4–8 hours, evenings and weekends, with potential for leadership opportunities and gratuities.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess 1-3 years of hands‑on experience serving in a restaurant environment, ensuring confidence and proficiency in providing top‑notch service.

• Handle physical demands including lifting and reaching, regularly lifting objects up to 50 pounds such as kegs, bending to serve food, and reaching to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Must possess valid Serving It Right (SIR) certification or be willing to obtain prior to first shift.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and a friendly demeanour.
• Educate guests about our diverse drink selection, assisting them in choosing the perfect beverage to complement their experience.
• Provide simple instructions on arcade game operation and recommend popular choices to enhance guest enjoyment.
• Share the origins and flavours of our authentic international street food options, adding depth to the dining experience.

AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Typical shifts range between 4–8 hours and may extend into late night hours.

COMPENSATION

• $17.85 per hour
