The RFBR Series Training Manager reports to the Training Director and is responsible for delivering and monitoring Series-specific training developed by the Series Training Superintendent and Supervisors. This role provides guidance to the technical training team, ensures training materials meet project requirements, and coordinates with various project teams to ensure training effectiveness.

This position is based in Pickering, ON.

Your Role Within The Team
  • Review and approve training materials prepared by Series Supervisors and Technical Writers.
  • Ensure trainers are qualified according to the Overall Training Program.
  • Develop training schedules supporting project execution, resolving logistical conflicts.
  • Coordinate procurement of goods and consumables for training environments.
  • Collaborate with Series Area Managers to analyze training metrics and improve performance.
  • Oversee training and evaluations to ensure trades workers are qualified for their tasks.
  • Maintain accurate training records within the Learning Management System.
  • Review lessons learned for future Series and Retubing Units training.
  • Ensure proper conduct of evaluations, safety, and PJB for training sessions.
  • Support series training rehearsals and represent training in project presentations and audits.
  • Manage training budgets, including goods and subcontractors.
  • Lead departmental development, mentorship, and performance reviews.
