Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency seeking an SEO Manager, Senior Living, to own search strategies for a portfolio of senior living clients across multi-location sites. You will define the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking narrative when clients ask what moved the needle.

You’ll lead on-page optimization, technical audits, local SEO, and AI-assisted content production with writers, while reporting in GA4 and Search Console and guiding quarterly client roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on SEO experience with audits and fixes performed independently.
• Fluency with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and backlink tools.
• Agency experience across multiple clients and locations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and site structure.
• Develop keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers and AI.
• Improve visibility in AI search and traditional organic results.
• Build links, local search, and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Provide GA4 and Search Console reporting and quarterly client roadmaps.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Manager, Senior Living you own search for a book of senior living clients (senior living operators and home care agencies with many communities): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for senior living or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.
