Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an SEO Strategist (Senior Living) to own search for a book of senior living clients, shaping the technical roadmap, content priorities and the narrative that communicates impact. You will speak with clients on live calls and steer the strategy with confidence.

You will manage technical SEO, keyword strategy, content prioritization, and AI-assisted drafts, while coordinating with writers. Experience in multi-location SEO and agency settings is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run audits and fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for senior living or multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Drive keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities with writers and AI.
• Get clients found in AI search and traditional organic results.

About The Role

As SEO Strategist, Senior Living you own search for a book of senior living clients (senior living operators and home care agencies with many communities): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring
