Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an experienced SEO Manager for Multifamily clients. You will own the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking story across multiple locations, working directly with clients on live calls.

You bring 3+ years of hands-on SEO, strong fluency with GA4, Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush, and proven agency experience managing several accounts simultaneously. Remote role with US/Canada clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on SEO experience including audits and fixes.
• Fluent in English; able to conduct live calls with US clients.
• Proficient in Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Experience in a digital agency handling multiple clients.
• Experience with multifamily or multi-location SEO is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, site architecture.
• Develop keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers/AI.
• Improve visibility in AI search and traditional organic results.
• Manage links, local search, and multi-location SEO.
• Produce GA4 and Search Console reports; plan quarterly roadmaps.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Manager, Multifamily you own search for a book of multifamily clients (multifamily owners and property management groups running large portfolios): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for multifamily or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.
