Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Manager, Multifamily to own search for a portfolio of multifamily clients, guiding technical roadmaps, content priorities, and ranking narratives. You’ll be the strategic voice, making the calls with confidence on live client discussions.

You’ll drive technical SEO, keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and content priorities, coordinating with writers and AI to produce drafts. Local and multi-location SEO, GA4 and reporting complete the remit.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: audits and fixes performed.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for multifamily or multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Manager, Multifamily you own search for a book of multifamily clients (multifamily owners and property management groups running large portfolios): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
