Job summary

Workday in Montreal is seeking a Senior Engagement Manager to guide customers through the solution delivery and deployment lifecycle. You will partner with Workday leadership, consultants and resource management to ensure the customer experience remains smooth from kickoff through go-live and beyond.

You will manage one or more Workday Financials/HCM/Payroll implementations, help shape delivery proposals, mentor professional services teams, and drive projects to completion within the agreed

Qualifications

• 4+ years of managing complex HCM and/or ERP implementations, focusing on Financials/HCM or Payroll.
• 3+ years deploying Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Ultimate Kronos or similar software.
• Experience with professional services consulting firms or supporting HCM/ERP implementations for customers.
• Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
• Ability to travel 25–50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Project manage multiple Workday implementations concurrently.
• Support sales cycle by gathering requirements and drafting proposals.
• Provide guidance to Professional Services resources on implementations.
• Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed.
• Manage project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform risk management with customers to minimize scope/time risks.
• Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings.
• Ensure client adopts Workday best practices.
• Coordinate with Sales and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to position other service offerings.
• Ensure successful transition to Product Support.
