Dillon Consulting Limited seeks a Water Wastewater Engineer to join our Water Wastewater team in London or Kitchener. The role balances technical design with leadership across municipal facilities and pumping stations.

We offer flexible hours and hybrid work, supporting ongoing development and participation in interdisciplinary teams. Applicants should have 8+ years in consulting and a P.Eng or eligible, plus strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a professional engineer or eligible to register.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental or chemical engineering.
• 8+ years of water wastewater consulting experience with leadership.
• Experience leading projects through planning, design, construction, commissioning.
• Strong understanding of Canadian water/wastewater regulatory framework.
• Experience managing scope, budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams is a plus.
• Experience with process modelling, hydraulic analysis, and facility optimization is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead process planning, evaluation and design for municipal and industrial plants.
• Provide technical leadership in planning, modelling, and detailed design.
• Deliver studies, master plans, feasibility assessments, and upgrade strategies.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic profiles, and technical reports.
• Lead multidisciplinary design teams through all design phases.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, structures, and civil disciplines.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior staff.
• Support construction administration including shop drawings, RFIs, inspections.
• Liaise with municipal clients, regulators, Indigenous communities, and suppliers.
• Apply digital tools and new treatment technologies to improve outcomes.
• Contribute to Dillon's technical practice with standards and tools.
