Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Halifax team. You will lead electrical design for water/wastewater, landfills, and industrial projects, coordinating with regional teams and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree and P.Eng. eligibility in Nova Scotia (Ontario asset).
• 5+ years of design experience in infrastructure electrical systems (water/wastewater).
• 8+ years of related professional experience in design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design with focus on power distribution, motor controls, instrumentation, and SCADA/PLC systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to manage workloads across regions.
• Mentor and provide technical direction to junior staff and support knowledge transfer.
• Perform peer reviews and ensure designs meet Canadian Electrical Code, CSA, UL, NFPA standards.
