Job summary

Jobgether partner in Canada seeks a Senior Civil Engineer focused on Water Resources and Stormwater Management. Lead complex hydrologic analyses, design stormwater systems, and support regulatory approvals while mentoring junior staff and building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; master's preferred.
• P.Eng. designation in Ontario or eligibility to obtain registration within two months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support planning, design, and implementation of water resources and stormwater projects.
• Conduct hydraulic analyses and design water management infrastructure.
• Model hydrology/hydraulics with industry tools (SWMM, PCSWMM, HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS, MIDUSS, OTTHYMO).
• Prepare reports, drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure designs meet municipal/regulatory requirements and client expectations.
• Collaborate with planners, ecologists, and engineers for integrated solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
• Build relationships with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
• Contribute to proposals, budgeting, planning, tendering and site inspections.
