Duration: 12 months plus extensions
Description:
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Underwrite and manage an existing book of E&O business in adherence with company policies and processes
• Developing new business and grow the business profitably
• Support marketing strategies designed to increase market presence
• Support relationships with existing and potential brokers
• Develop internal relationships with other profit centers and distribution staff
• Assist in implementation of strategic measures
• Assist in implementing new products and developing process improvements
• Provide guidance and feedback on underwriting practices
• Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends and developments
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
• 5+ Years' experience in specialty insurance.
• Understanding of risk management principles with an ability to analyze data and provide insights
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of industry standards and trends
• Candidate should be positive, energetic and possess strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
