Job summary

Snowden Optiro is a global mining advisory firm seeking a Senior or Principal Underground Mining Engineer to join our North American team. You will collaborate to deliver high-quality solutions and results for Snowden Optiro clients.

The role requires operational experience, consulting background preferred, and expertise in underground stope optimization, design, economic analysis, and technical reporting across scoping to feasibility studies. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• P.Eng designation or in process of completing certification.
• 10+ years of underground mining experience with strong technical and practical focus.
• Experience consulting or in a professional services environment.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute strong technical expertise across a range of underground mining methods and environments.
• Provide consulting support and practical engineering solutions.
• Project manage other disciplines to provide necessary information for the Mineral Reserve estimate.
• Deliver high-quality reports, presentations and project documentation.
• Support company-wide project activities and Snowden Optiro's values and standards.
