Dr Sauer & Partners Corporation in Toronto, Canada, seeks a Senior Tunnel Engineer to lead underground design and project delivery. You will work on SEM tunnelling, SOE, TBM tunnelling, and geotechnical design, guiding teams to deliver concepts, designs, reports and analyses within set timelines.

The role carries technical and commercial responsibility, with opportunity to mentor team members and support tender activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in civil engineering.
• P.Eng license in Civil Engineering in ON.
• Experience leading high-profile design projects.
• Strong knowledge of SEM tunnelling, SOE, TBM tunnelling and geotechnical design.

Responsabilités

• Develop engineering concepts, scope descriptions, and effort estimates for projects.
• Review ground conditions and rock/soil parameters.
• Develop excavation and support sequences for tunnels, caverns, shafts, and adits.
• Write reports and specifications to communicate SEM design principles to clients and owners.
• Perform empirical tunnel design, settlement assessment, and FE modelling.
• Lead internal design principle communication between engineering and CAD teams.
• Provide constructability input to design processes for on-site projects.
• Represent the company in workshops with clients and owners.
• Act as designer representative on site leading RES processes.
• Support tender activities and contribute to business growth.
