Job summary

AECOM seeks a BIM Specialist, Tunnel Practice to lead BIM strategies for major tunnelling and underground projects across Canada, based in Mississauga. You will drive BIM workflows, coordinate among tunnel, structural, geotechnical, civil, MEP teams, and advance digital delivery, visualization, and data exchange.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant BIM experience or demonstrated equivalency in BIM implementation on large multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM strategies for major tunnelling and underground projects.
• Support BIM processes from conceptual design to construction and handover.
• Collaborate with tunnel, structural, geotechnical, civil, mechanical, electrical and other disciplines.
• Enable data exchange, model coordination, and BIM quality assurance aligned with standards.
• Oversee BIM execution plans and ISO 19650 compliance.
• Integrate BIM with digital twins and AI-driven analytics where appropriate.
