Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to drive process re-engineering, automation, and data transformation in collaboration with Global Treasury Cash Operations and technology teams.

The role emphasizes delivering tech-enabled solutions, leading testing, and proactively pursuing automation opportunities using Gen AI and low-code tools while maintaining high-quality documentation and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in leadership role supporting business systems analysis, with process re-engineering and automation.
• Experience working with technology teams to develop system solutions.
• Exposure to Gen AI and Agentic AI based solutions.
• Proficiency with citizen developer tools like Power Apps, Power BI, or Alteryx.

Responsibilities

• Provide BSA function by partnering with Global Treasury Cash Operations and tech teams to support process re-engineering, automation and data transformation.
• Define and refine business requirements and technical specs for tech-enabled solutions.
• Explain technical specifications to teams to align with business needs.
• Identify and execute automation opportunities using Gen AI, Agentic AI and low-code tools.
• Act as SME/consultant to Treasury Operations and BU teams to address business issues.
• Report project status and critical issues to management.
• Create and maintain project documentation (functional/technical design).
• Lead testing with test plans and matrices; perform functional and system integration testing.
• Project manage small/medium initiatives per PM methodologies.
• Support ad-hoc analyses for production problems; develop timely solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing production tools/processes.
• Interact professionally with clients and business areas to deliver high-quality service.
