Zusammenfassung

Metrolinx, based at 20 Bay Street, Toronto, seeks two Senior Advisors, Agreements to support the GO Expansion program within the Capital Projects Group. You will lead development and negotiation of complex third‑party agreements with municipal and regional partners to enable delivery of major transit projects.

You will provide expert guidance to Project Delivery Teams, manage risk, coordinate with Legal, and drive terms to support project schedules and corporate objectives.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in municipal, infrastructure or transportation planning, policy development, or project management with knowledge of agreements and public sector interactions.
• Knowledge of transit construction infrastructure and/or P3 financing and procurement projects is beneficial.
• Degree in engineering, applied science, urban planning, environmental studies, business or law or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of the Ontario Planning Act, Municipal Act, OHSA, Environmental Assessment Act, and related infrastructure.
• Strong decision-making latitude and risk assessment for agreements across projects.

Aufgaben

• Develop and coordinate agreement strategies with municipalities, regions, transit agencies and consortium partners.
• Provide specialist agreements advice to Project Delivery Teams (PDTs) and align activities to schedules.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for contractual, financial, schedule and liability risks.
• Monitor risks and contingencies to minimize costs, penalties, delays and impacts to delivery.
• Lead negotiations and stakeholder engagement with municipal and regional partners to advance objectives.
• Collaborate with Legal, PDTs and internal stakeholders to establish terms and drive resolution.
