You will lead a group of engineers to develop traction power design packages for complex rail projects, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery. The role requires deep DC traction power expertise, substations design, and familiarity with NEC/NFPA codes, with the ability to coordinate across disciplines and manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 15 to 25 years of experience with DC traction power systems design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training is an advantage.
• Experience in North American transit/ transportation sector preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70, NEC and local codes is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of junior electrical engineers to develop traction power design packages.
• Design traction power substations, feeders, layouts and grounding systems.
• Coordinate with engineers for system integration and design.
• Perform load flow simulations and prepare reports.
• Provide installation, testing and commissioning support to clients.
• Manage traction power projects.
