Job summary

Rogers Communications in Toronto is seeking a Senior Technology Strategy Analyst to support long-term planning through financial modeling and cross-functional collaboration. The role involves developing and maintaining complex models, delivering market insights, and preparing leadership-ready presentations.

You will lead partner-engagement analyses, size markets, forecast P&L scenarios, and drive strategic initiatives while collaborating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a strategic planning role.
• Advanced business acumen, including strategic thinking and financial literacy.
• Experience in the telecommunications or technology sector is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of mapping tools such as QGIS.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfort with ambiguity.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and proactive information gathering.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Takes initiative and interest in telecom industry.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex business models to support long-term planning.
• Lead financial modeling and analysis for partner engagements/negotiations including market sizing, modeling deal term scenarios, and P&L forecasting.
• Analyze materials and prepare recommendations.
• Assist in driving cross functional strategic initiatives.
• Develop market research analysis and identify industry trends.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives and strategic projects.
• Identify and quantify value creation opportunities, building financial models and business plans to gain buy-in.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for leadership.
