Job Description

Position Summary:

As an Information Developer, you will work with a world-class team to document new technologies along with our product lines. You will collaborate with partners across the globe to produce online help, reference manuals, and release notes. You will be part of a team responsible for using technologies to deliver intuitive knowledge experiences.

You will report to the Information Developer Manager based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Create, develop, plan, write, and edit operational, instructional, maintenance, or test procedures for paper, multimedia, or web-based publication.
2. Conduct interviews with users and technical staff to gather data for documentation.
3. Research and translate technical information into web-based documents for both non-technical and technical users.
4. Recommend formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.
5. Revise existing information and create new information for product users.
6. Provide recommendations for improvement and proofread texts to correct errors.
7. Identify user assistance content requirements, analyze specifications, and collaborate with subject matter experts to meet user needs.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Legal authorization to work in Canada (no sponsorship available)

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• 8+ years of experience in a related area with Software Development Life Cycle
• Fluency in French (written and verbal)
• 5+ years in a Scaled Agile Framework environment
• 5+ years working with Dita XML tools
• 5+ years in a web-based content management system
• Experience writing and editing user documentation and UI text
• Technical capacity to understand complex software systems
• Proficiency with documentation templates and style guides
