Job summary

CPUS Engineering is seeking a Technical Specialist in Ajax, Ontario, to support Front-End Planning and project controls for a 24-month engagement. The role requires coordination of planning processes, cost and schedule control, and integration with project teams.

On-site work at 35 hours/week with a competitive hourly rate of CAD 90–95. The candidate should have 8+ years of Nuclear/Project Controls/PM experience, advanced Excel skills, a P6 certificate, and ECOSYS experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years Nuclear/Project Controls/Project Management experience.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• P6 certificate is required.
• ECOSYS experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, facilitate and drive the Front-End Planning processes.
• Review and provide input into project scoping, Work Breakdown Structures, and Basis of Estimates.
• Develop integrated, resource-loaded project schedules (Primavera) aligned to scope, risks, estimates/budgets and constraints at task level for field execution.
• Establish project budgets, contingency and milestones.
• Support and author Business Case Summary development. Ensure detail, accuracy and quality is adequate for monitoring and control of project.
