One of our engineering clients is looking for a Junior Site Project Controls Specialist to work at the Bruce Power Site.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor schedule float and critical path, man-hours and cost progress to establish trends, assist in cost forecasts.
  2. Initiate the preparation of estimates for contract scope changes.
  3. Participate in the preparation of project costs reports.
  4. Assist in setting up and maintaining project schedules and cost control system and documentation for the project.
  5. Responsible for maintaining change control, cost reports, and cash flows.
  6. Review invoices against PO’s and contracts for accuracy and certification of payments.

Qualifications:

  1. Engineering degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
  2. Requires highly effective skills in organization and planning.
  3. Detail and goal-oriented.
  4. Strong business computer skills.
  5. Experience in P3 and MS Project scheduling software including MS Excel and other computer software skills.
  6. Experience of working in an engineering consulting environment.
  7. Experience in project controls working on EPC & EPCM type projects.
