Job summary

EFS Plastics is seeking a Technical Sales Lead to drive customer relationships and translate plastics processing knowledge into practical solutions across Western Canada and the Western United States.

The role requires deep technical plastics expertise, a strong sales background, and the ability to travel approximately 50% while collaborating with engineering and production teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in plastics manufacturing or plastics processing.
• Strong technical understanding of plastic materials, manufacturing processes, applications, and/or processing equipment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, account management, or a customer-facing technical role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers throughout the assigned territory.
• Provide technically informed sales support, using plastics knowledge to understand customer applications and challenges.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to recommend products, materials, and solutions.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through quoting, negotiation, and ongoing account development.
• Monitor customer needs, industry developments, and market opportunities to support growth.
