Job summary

WSP in Canada is seeking a seasoned acoustics leader to shape the strategic direction of our acoustics, noise, and vibration practice across Ontario. You will guide executives, mentor teams, and drive high‑impact projects.

With a P.Eng. in Ontario and 20+ years in the field, including 10+ years in technical leadership, you will leverage CadnaA, Odeon, EASE, TNM, and STAMSON to deliver innovative solutions and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred in acoustics or related discipline.
  • P.Eng. (Ontario) designation required.
  • 20+ years of experience in acoustics, noise, and vibration; 10+ years in technical lead.
  • Advanced expertise in environmental noise, building acoustics, and vibration analysis.
  • Proficiency with modelling tools CadnaA, Odeon, EASE, TNM, STAMSON.
  • Strong knowledge of MECP guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven leadership in high-visibility projects and client relationships.
  • Business development ability with strategic, collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership on acoustics and vibration.
  • Lead a specialized team and represent WSP in client engagements and forums.
  • Guide executive decision‑making and mentor employees at all levels.
  • Drive innovation and contribute to strategic, precedent‑setting projects.

Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $147,500 – $195,400
  • MB & ON: $134,600 – $184,600
  • NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC : $133,200 – $176,900
