Job summary

WSP is seeking a senior acoustics, noise, and vibration leader to shape Ontario’s acoustical services and influence executive decisions. The role combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration across client engagements and industry forums.

You will drive innovation, guide resource planning, and develop formal knowledge networks while advancing a national acoustics practice with impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred in acoustics or related discipline.
• Ontario P.Eng designation is required.
• 20+ years in acoustics, noise, and vibration with 10+ years as a technical lead.
• Expertise in environmental noise, building acoustics, and vibration analysis.
• Proficient with CadnaA, Odeon, EASE, TNM, and STAMSON.
• Strong knowledge of MECP guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
• Leadership in high-visibility projects and long-term client relationships.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred in acoustics or related discipline.


• P.Eng. (Ontario) designation required.


• 20+ years of experience in acoustics, noise, and vibration, including 10+ years as a technical lead.


• Advanced expertise in environmental noise, building acoustics, and vibration analysis.


• Proficiency with modelling tools such as CadnaA, Odeon, EASE, TNM, and STAMSON.


• Strong knowledge of MECP guidelines and other regulatory frameworks.


• Proven leadership in key, high‑visibility projects with excellence in execution and delivery.


• Strong business development ability with a track record of sustaining long‑term client relationships.


• Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and strategic mindset with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $147,500 – $195,400

MB & ON: $134,600 – $184,600

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $133,200 – $176,900
