Job summary

Acturis Canada in Victoria, BC is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join the Products team. You will work with insurers to build and improve Personal Lines products, gather requirements and translate them into precise specifications, and drive complex implementations.

The role offers a hybrid work pattern with up to 3 days remote and a salary between CAD 70,000 and CAD 80,000, commensurate with experience, plus training and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Math, Physics, Engineering or other STEM discipline.
• An aptitude for applying technology and structured problem solving.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to build relationships with clients.
• Logical, well organized and practical.
• A track record of delivering on projects and an ability to carry tasks through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Products team, working with insurers to build and improve Personal Lines products.
• Help clients understand options for using the Acturis System.
• Design and implement top quality new software solutions.
• Solve challenging technical problems using a structured approach.
• Gather client requirements and turn these into detailed specifications.
• Manage the build of complex implementations to specification.
