Job summary

Certain Affinity, Inc. is seeking a Senior Advanced Technical Artist in Canada, with open eligibility across Ontario (and other provinces). You will work on our studio pipelines, develop tools, and help maintain the quality of our art assets for AAA projects and new IPs.

The role requires hands-on pipeline development, teamwork, and the ability to present clear technical visions. A strong portfolio and experience across multiple engines are key assets for success.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in game industry with 4+ years as Technical Artist.
• Shipped 1+ AAA title as Technical Artist.
• Proficient in Python or C#/C++ and UE/other engines.
• Expert in environment art tools, shaders, and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom workflows using scripts and tools for the art team.
• Maintain art pipelines by identifying inefficiencies and improving them.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues with the development team.
• Support technical art needs of client-facing projects and partner expectations.
• Facilitate communication across disciplines with clear feedback.
• Collaborate to promote innovation and refine visual quality of games.
