Job description

Oversee the preparation and review of the Canadian tax provision, assist with the global provision and tax compliance.

Design and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting for tax-related activities.

Collaborate with finance teams across different regions to ensure consistent application of tax policies and procedures.

Support business initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic projects.

Work with IT and finance teams to identify and implement technology solutions to streamline tax provision calculations and reporting.

Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in tax automation.
