Job Title: Senior US Tax Manager

Location: Remote (Anywhere in Canada)

About the Role:

We’re hiring a Senior US Tax Manager to lead and support a growing cross-border tax practice. This remote role is open to candidates based anywhere in Canada. You’ll work with a highly experienced team handling US tax matters for individuals, corporations, trusts, and partnerships. If you’re looking for a challenging role with real impact, this is for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Review and prepare complex US tax filings: 1040, 1040NR, 1120, 1120F, 5471, 5472, 3520, 3520A, FBAR (FinCen 114), and more
• Research US federal and state tax issues, especially cross-border matters, and draft technical memos
• Use the Canada-US Tax Treaty to advise on filing positions for individuals and businesses
• Respond to US federal and state tax authorities on client audits, notices, and inquiries
• Lead project planning, team scheduling, budgets, and client billing
• Coach and mentor junior team members, conduct reviews, and support professional development

• Strong leadership and people management skills
