Job summary

MDA Space in Montreal is seeking a Sr Recruiter for a 12-month contract to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition Team. The role requires strong bilingual English/French skills and a track record in high-tech recruiting, with in-office work Monday to Thursday and remote Fridays.

You will attract, assess and hire top talent, build diverse candidate pools, and partner with managers throughout the hiring process to ensure a seamless experience and strong results.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-tech environments.
• Fluent in English and French; able to support TA activities nationwide across MDA Space locations.
• Technical recruiting experience in computer and engineering fields; strong networking in technology industry.
• Communicative team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Experience partnering with managers, interviewers and hiring teams through the hiring process.
• Attention to detail, proactive and results-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• This role is based in Montreal with in-office Monday-Thursday and option to work from home on Friday.

Responsibilities

• Attract, assess and hire the right candidates in a timely fashion.
• Identify hiring needs and match candidates to roles.
• Participate in staffing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool.
• Build relationships with talent through networking and direct sourcing.
• Evaluate skill levels, conduct efficient interviews, drive offer process and negotiations.
• Communicate with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure interview readiness.
• Promote MDA Space employer brand and implement improvements to recruitment efforts.
• Participate in strategic HR activities as directed.
