Job summary

Airbus Canada Limited Partnership seeks a seasoned vibration systems specialist to join the Flight & Space Physics team in Mirabel, Quebec. You will perform vibration analyses on aircraft systems, collaborating with design teams to define certification requirements and test plans.

The role demands 10+ years in aerospace vibration, strong FEM modeling skills (HyperWorks/Nastran), and proficiency in static and fatigue analyses, with DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering; a Master’s is an asset.
• 10+ years of vibration experience in aerospace environments.
• Strong knowledge of FEM modeling (HyperWorks & Nastran).
• Familiar with static and fatigue analyses and DO-160 / MIL-STD-810.

Responsibilities

• Vibration analysis of systems.
• Finite element modeling of frequency responses.
• Processing of test data (FFT, PSD).
• Definition of requirements, planning and procedures for vibration testing.
• Documenting vibration expertise and supporting suppliers and internal teams.
