Job summary

Gestal Aerospace in Mirabel, Quebec is seeking a stress engineering professional to join the Cockpit and Fuselage Stress Analysis team. Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in structural integrity qualification of aircraft structures.
• Proficiency with NASTRAN, PATRAN, CATIA V5 and MS Office mandatory.
• NASGRO knowledge is an asset.
• Google Suite knowledge is an asset.
• Autonomous and able to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Must read/write French and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform static analyses of the airframe structure.
• Perform fatigue analyses of the airframe structure.
• Perform finite element modeling.
• Perform damage tolerance analyses.
• Write/review certification reports.
• Coordinate with partners.
• Work closely with Liaison, Design, Projects, and Airworthiness groups.
