Airbus Canada Limited Partnership seeks a Spécialiste en Développement des Systèmes de Commandes de Vol primaires for the A220 programme in Mirabel, QC. You will develop and validate the primary flight control system with European teams, contributing to design, requirements, and verification activities across multiple test levels.

The role requires a mechanical/electrical/aerospace engineering degree, 5+ years in aerospace, and Matlab/Simulink proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of aerospace industry experience.
• Knowledge of DO-178 and ARP4754 development processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in primary FBW flight control system development for the A220 aircraft.
• Define system-level and component-level requirements and verify design through reviews, simulations, and testing.
• Maintain interfaces with other aircraft systems and participate in architecture definition and trade studies.
• Use DevOps tool suites and manage development cycles for assigned functions; collaborate with suppliers and teams.
• Travel for business to Europe and USA as needed.
