Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead multi-discipline cost estimating for buildings and facilities, guiding teams of discipline estimators and coordinating with engineers and designers.

You will develop detailed cost estimates, validate quantities, and prepare execution plans while supporting procurement, change orders, and risk analyses. The role may involve domestic and international travel and flexible work locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined estimating and construction experience; field or preconstruction experience preferred.
• Professional credentials such as AACE, RICS, ASPE, PMI, DBIA, or related credentials are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the development of multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules.
• Develop detailed estimates for architectural systems, building envelope, interiors, finishes, and related components.
• Coordinate input from all estimating disciplines into a single cost estimate.
• Prepare basis of cost estimate reports for end users.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure scope alignment and defensibility.
