TBT Engineering Limited is seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to lead and contribute to diverse building projects in Canada. You will apply advanced technical knowledge in analysis, design, and implementation of structural systems for commercial, residential, and institutional buildings.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, and P.Eng. licensure or eligibility.

Formación

• The candidate must have a Civil or Structural Engineering degree and be a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible for licensure.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in structural analysis and design of commercial or institutional buildings.
• Proficiency with structural design and modeling software and solid knowledge of applicable codes and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and execute Structural Engineering projects for building structures, including design, analysis, and detailing of steel, concrete, timber, and composite systems.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, calculations, and construction documentation.
• Conduct structural analysis and assessments to ensure safety, performance, and compliance with applicable building codes and standards.
• Lead coordination with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure effective project delivery.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and intermediate staff, promoting technical growth and professional development.
• Support project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, codes, and municipal requirements.
• Contribute to proposal development and business development initiatives through client engagement and technical input.
