Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Structural Designer to join the Energy and Resources Design team in Canada. The role involves modeling, drafting and structural design for projects across North America, with supervision from senior staff and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in industrial environments, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, and strong communication skills. Opportunities include growth, mentoring others, and travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Six or more years in industrial consulting or industrial environments.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD; ability to create Revit content and manage parameters.
• Experience with CAD/BIM tools and reality capture workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication; teamwork in remote environments.
• Graduate of technical/design drafting program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Modeling, drafting and structural design for varied projects.
• Deliver project work within budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and teams to produce quality deliverables.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to career development.
• Perform QA/QC on own projects according to Stantec guidelines.
• Attend project coordination meetings and travel to local sites as needed.
