Job summary

Bell Textron Canada in Mirabel, QC seeks a Senior Stress Analysis Engineer for Structural Repairs. You will lead complex analyses, support design, and coordinate certification activities, driving technical excellence within the Structural Repairs Group.

The role requires 10–15 years of aeronautical stress experience, mastery of classical methods, FEA, and proficiency in CATIA and Patran/Nastran. French and English fluency are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aeronautical, or aerospace engineering.
• Master’s degree is a plus for senior level.
• Strong background in stress/repair analysis aligned with certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead static analyses using classical methods and FEA.
• Perform fatigue, crack propagation, and damage tolerance analyses.
• Develop structural justification plans in line with certification requirements.
• Review and approve analysis reports and certification data.
• Collaborate with design to define materials, thicknesses, and repair sequences.
