Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of ten years of aerospace experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of structural analysis of metallic and composite materials.
  • Bilingual French and English with ability to write technical reports in English.

Responsibilities

  • Lead static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses on aircraft components using FEM methods.
  • Validate mechanical designs in collaboration with design and manufacturing teams.
  • Approve analysis reports and technical assumptions.
  • Plan, prioritize, and monitor progress of analysis tasks.
  • Mentor junior analysts and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and program requirements.
  • Participate in feasibility studies and proposals for civilian and military customers.
  • Collaborate with fleet management teams to plan interventions.
