Job summary

AAA Canada is seeking a Stress Analysis Engineer – Damage Tolerance to join our Mirabel team. You will perform damage tolerance analyses on primary structural elements and develop fatigue spectra, validating results with tests.

Collaborate to improve design concepts, repairs, and certification tasks within aeronautics programs. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering and 5+ years of airframe fatigue experience, with NASTRAN, PATRAN, NASGRO, CATIA V5, MS Office

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
At least 5 years of stress analysis experience on metallic aircraft structures, focused on airframe fatigue and damage tolerance.
Proficiency with NASTRAN, PATRAN, NASGRO, CATIA V5, MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

Perform damage tolerance analyses on primary structural elements (PSE).
Make recommendations on design concepts and repair of aircraft structures.
Develop fatigue spectra.
Validate damage tolerance analyses with experimental results.
Support maintenance manual development with publications and maintenance engineering groups.
