Job summary

Toronto Hydro Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager, Construction (Stations) to lead planning, execution, and performance of the Stations construction and maintenance portfolio. The role oversees front-line managers across multiple locations, ensuring safe, on-time and high-quality outcomes aligned with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a three-year college diploma; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Ten or more years of construction, maintenance and stations commissioning experience within a utility operations environment.
• Minimum five years progressive supervisory and/or crew leadership experience.
• Knowledge of utility construction and maintenance practices and industry standards.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and Ontario electricity regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, prioritization, and execution of capital, maintenance, reactive, and customer connection programs.
• Deliver work safely, on schedule, within budget, and to defined quality standards.
• Drive standardization and adoption of new technologies across multiple teams and locations.
• Manage departmental budgets, performance metrics, and operational scorecards.
• Lead, coach, and develop front-line leaders and employees to drive engagement and performance.
