Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years leading capital projects or utility infra.
• 7+ years of strong people leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of design, construction, contract administration, and delivery.
• Experience with stakeholder partnerships and regulatory processes.
• P.Eng. in Ontario preferred; MBA/Engineering masters preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, forecasts, plans, executes and reports for a portfolio of capital constructions projects
• Lead the delivery of capital projects from design through execution.
• Establish governance, performance metrics and reporting structures for a growing portfolio.
• Develop strong relationships with municipalities, transit agencies, regulators and partners.
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations for complex project agreements.
• Partner with customer-facing teams to enhance transparency and experience.
• Drive continuous improvement in contractor performance and oversight.
• Oversee contractor management including safety and environment requirements.
• Provide coaching to motivate outcomes and support rotations for staff.
• Manage annual budget, plans, scorecards and measures aligned to goals.
• Travel up to 20% monthly to visit sites and meetings.
